NoMa (North Market) Library in Wilmington, Delaware
The new branch is a two-story, approximately 24,000-square-foot next-generation public library and community campus hub. The branch is designed to bring together books, technology, creativity, entrepreneurship, wellness, food, culture, and neighborhood connection under one roof.
What makes NoMa different.
It is not only used as a traditional library, but also as a flexible community hub. The building includes creative technology spaces, community gathering areas, wellness-focused spaces, outdoor engagement areas, and partner-driven service opportunities. NoMa will support literacy, learning, workforce pathways, content creation, small business development, cultural programming, and community connection.
NoMa’s programming focus will center on inter-generational programming for teens and adults. Youth services programs, such as storytimes, will continue to be held at our amazing North Wilmington branch.
