Sock Drive

Let’s help the homeless stay warm.

Staring Friday, October 2nd to Monday, December 21, 2026

Did you know that socks are the most wanted but least donated items of clothing for homeless.

This winter, New Castle County & Charity Crossing are partnering to conduct a “Socks for the Homeless” drive. Donate NEW socks, gloves, hats and scarves in the collection bins located in New Castle County Libraries & Recreation Centers.

They will be distributed to the homeless & less fortunate citizens at various locations in Delaware.
