3D Printing

The Wilmington Public Library and the Delaware Division of Libraries are proud to offer a new service – 3D printing.

1.) THINK: start with your own creative idea.  Or go to thingiverse.com and find an object.

2.) BUILD: Use the software like  Tinkercad.com, Sketchup, Blender or any other 3D modeling software to create your original digital model.

3.) REVIEW and EXPORT: Export or save your file as .stl or .thing or .obj for printing

4.) SUBMIT: Fill out a Print Request Form 3DPrinterForm-Libraries_Final.pdf and provide a copy of your .stl or .thing or .obj file to the Technology Center staff on the 2nd floor.

5.)PRINT:  Staff will print your file and call or email you when it is ready.makerbot

All prints are currently free.
